We recently developed a high performance and durable printed barcode label solution for a large automotive component supplier to The Ford Motor Company.

The barcode label had to be applied to the engine component and had to be resistant to harsh under-bonnet conditions such as heat, solvents, brake fluid etc and also had to last for the life of the engine component - 10 years plus 

Our solution was a pre-printed barcode label constructed from a polyester base material with a high performance adhesive and laminated with a solvent resistant matt polyester.
