We have recently installed a “one stop shop” product ID labelling system for a supplier of high specification Testing Instruments whose products are supplied into demanding environments such as the Nuclear power industry.
Our customer required a total solution including printers, software, high specification durable label supplies, training and installation.
Our solution was to supply five Citizen CLP621 printers including Bartender Enterprise Software. The printers were located at the individual manufacturing cells where the product ID label could be printed on-demand and applied to the product, all the Citizen CLP621 printers were linked to the network using the Bartender Enterprise Software.
We also had to come up with a highly durable label and this was achieved by supplying a label manufactured using special 3M polyesters and laminates, this was then over printed using a special solvent resistant thermal ribbon, this made the label resistant to solvents and chemicals such as xylene, toulene, methanol, brake fluid, gasoline, hydraulic oils etc……..
The whole system was fully installed to the customers satisfaction during a one day intensive training and installation programme.
